The login.php in the root. I didn't change it because it's not a primary thing to do. You can just login the forum and use the link in your up right.

Latest activity: Half of the cities and players there link to the old forum. We'll get that tomorrow.

Time: The time in the game can be a few hours off.

Jakarta points to the old website... since you know I thought I'll help pin point it...

* Note that the links on the latest activity(and your main gewar) are corrected only for the new activities starting from today. The old ones will link to googleearthhacks.com because I didn't feel like correcting hundreds of links while they will be gone out of the log in a few days of action anyway.

I cant see where to plant fields, mines, or wells.. I can still plant them.. but i cant see like the area.. You know like the white square with the cotten fields.. plz luke help me :cool:

I've had that in the past. I deleted the KML and downloaded it again and it went away.

Ive tried that but i still can't see it.. Ill try it again.

OK i have to wait like 18 hours to plant my next field,mine,well.. but should i still be able to see like the white background for the cotten? or the black background for the oil>?<

You should just see the square...if you don't see it, delete your Google Earth files and download them again here.

I have done that.. twice! I have no idea why it wont work.. But you need to be able to see where to plant!!

Just a thought, but have you tried unchecking the box, giving it a few seconds to unload and checking it again?

Under the Oil well Tool tab is a check box that says "available area for oil wells" Make sure that is ticked aswell........ Just a thought.

Same things with oil wells...

If you don't use the internal browser of google earth, then use it. If you do use it, then switch to an external one.
Also...in internet explorer, make sure you accept all cookies.

I had an army of about 12,000 in Pevek, Russia along with 5 other armies in the same city of 100 troops each. After the server came back online, I looked and in the city history it had not been attacked, yet the 12,000 troop army and one of the 100 troop armies were gone. They don't show up on my army list - it only shows the remaining 4 100-troop armies.

Please, can I have my forces back? They were named Strike Force (12,000) and ImperialGuard 3 (100). I was just getting to know them and now *sniff sniff* they're all gone. :'(

I think if the army is not in existence because of the backup, surely the geos you used to create the army just after the backup are still in the bank account? My understanding is that we were actually quite lucky with the timing of the crash and the game only lost less than a day..... But I could be wrong.....

Actually, the armies had been sitting in that city for a few days already, and no - the geos I used to purchase them were not back in my account/on hand cash after the game came back online. I hope they are just out for a stroll and didn't let me know. Perhaps they'll be back soon. The boys do like to go AWOL once in a while. :)

D'oh! Same thing happen to other ppl? Sounds like data loss.

As far as I know the backup is from approx. a week ago, so anything done between now & then is gone, on both the game and the forum. :'(

I have already tried downloading the resource files again, and that doesn't work. I saw that Mozilla might work better for GEWar than Internet Explorer. I was just wondering if this has happened to others and if downloading Mozilla would fix it. Any clues as to what the problem may be?

Well, it is known that IE has problems with Google Earth.
Mozilla works much better for me.
But do you already get an error inside Google Earth? Saying it can't load circle file?
Also try deleting the cache in Google Earth and if that doesn't work, see if you have firewalls on that might cause this.

THen the last person to attack that city had the same IP as you.
Same IP's can't attack same city right after eachother.

That is a common error when you attack an army outside of your city at the same time that they attack your army.

For me I sometimes have troubles loading the armies kml. It says there were errors while fetching the information. Does anyone know why this happens?

The 2000 carats were an indicitation back from Mickey's game.
Don't think they are correct, but as they mostly stay within this area, i'll just leave them as they are for the moment.

I don't know if it's really a bug, but the name of the cities sometimes are written with their country (like Puerto Princesa, Philippines), other times without the country (like: Puerto Princesa). I think I saw the name of Aberdeen written in 3 forms ( "Aberdeen, Scotland, UK", "Aberdeen, Scotland","Aberdeen" ).

It's not a bug. If you see problems with city names, please post them in the thread for that in the City Requests forum. If you really think you found a bug, please make a new ticket in the Helpdesk.

I logged off and the next day i logged on again and: Delta force had only 1 troop, Gamma force had only 22 and Alpha force had i think about 900 troops! What happend to my troops! Please help me!

That sounds to me like your troops have starved. Each army has a 'daily upkeep' - perhaps about 50 geos (you can see on the inividual army's page as it varies depending on how many troops you have in the army). This upkeep is taken out of your available funds. If there is not any money in your available funds then some of your troops 'die' so your army gets smaller.

Oh and I noticed you are in your own alliance. For new players like yourself I would suggest joining one of the training camps where you can ask questions and learn how to play. :)
