Open Google Earth, then zoom to the Acropolis, Athens.

Starting at a height of 3000ft, zoom in to 1500ft, and hey presto! A secret radar station appears on the hilltop.

The same also happens to the north-east of the Acropolis, when a large car park fades in and out!!!

Me thinks that Google have stitched the map wrong somewhere.
