I was using the search feature to find cities in India before I asked for any new ones, and half of the Indian cities didn't show up. I didn't get (which are all above 1 mil):
Indore
Surat
Hyderabadad
Ahmedabad
Chennai
And most shockingly, Delhi. One of the largest cities.

Probably because the search is a simple text search, and these cities are not listed with india in their title.

Your best bet is to look for cities using Google Earth, and the GEWar overlays. The cities are obvious, then you can request those that you feel are missing.
