Okay, I just started playing. Jewel hunting looked like the best way to first start getting money, so I did that. Got to pyramids.... zoom in, says it found jewel, I click "Yes." then.... AAH!

This is the problem, once I reach the claim a jewel page, IE has a script error that says:

Line:1
Char:14
Error: 'document.verify.random' is null or not an object
Code:0
URL: http://www.gewar.net/getjewel75431912i2238196

I've tried several times with the same error. Whether or not I continue running scripts, it doesn't show an image, though the text box is there.

In other words, there is no security image so I can't get my jewel! How do I fix this?

I think you did. I'm going to try to get the Mount Fuji jewel, so I'll see if that works.

EDIT: no, same glitch.

I have IE6 and FF 1.5, both don't work. Is there anything in particular I have to have for it to work?

Same glitch.

I have both IE6 and FF, but both don't work. The image verifications on other places on the site work. I'm adjusting some settings, I'll say if it works.

I got that when I had the problem that I had 2500 geos.
That's when you can't jewel anymore unless you're a donator.

Or maybe you have 50 jewels on hand.
This is the max that you can have on hand.
You need to convert them into Geos in order to hunt for jewels again.

No, I just joined around 30 minutes ago. I have 0 jewels (all converted) and 46 geos.... certainly nowhere near the max.

BTW, if it makes a difference, I have a router. Is there any port that it sends the data through that I have to open?

In Google Earth theres an option that opens a browser window within the program. Tools, Options, Preferences, then unclick "open in external browser".

Try disabling the firewall and see if that fixes it.

Firstly, it doesn't open in an external browser, but within GE.

Also, I disabled my firewall and the problem persists. So I enabled it again :)

you got any "ad removing" programs?

or even worse... adware or spyware?

Cheack this:

Your firewall on your router.
Your Anti-Virus software (could be blocking it)
Firewall Software on your computer
Anti-Spyware and Anti-Adware programs
Enable USE HTTP 1.1 and USE HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections
Make sure you have a decent DNS server in your setting on your network connection (Do a nslookup on your DNS and see the times it takes to reply)

I do have an add-removing program, but it only removes images when you right click them and say "Block". I've also disabled it on gewar.net

Also, all the other merification pages work, the jewel collecting ones are the only ones that don't load the image. I checked the html source and there isn't even an image tag! Plus, I get a script error when using IE.

EDIT: Sry, didn't notice the second page.

Router firewall, no clue, I'll check
anti-virus software, is not the problem
Firewall, I disabled for a while
Anti-adware, no way
I've checked for spyware
HTTP 1.1, is that even a option on Firefox? Either way, I had it enabled in IE
DNS server..... hold on a little bit, I'm going to check teh services my computer is running

EDIT1: Nope, no luck.

The most puzzeling part here is that verification images for things like exchanging jewels into geos still work.
