I would like to request Izmir, Turkey be included in GEwar. I checked on the Izmir municipality web page and it said the urban population was 3,370,866. Here's the link for the Izmir municipality web page.

That number is also acceptable because the number provided by wikipedia only gives the inner city population.

And my 2 other sources also come in around the 2,200,000 range - are you giving the the population for the whole state/province maybe? You've missed two cities by over 1,000,000 population. Realism for requesting cities please.

the municipality of Antalya consits a large area. Only the inner city is 2,200,000. (it is one of Turkeys bigger citiys)

If I would have done what you say then I would have to add Muğla etc. which would sum up to 5 mil or so...
