Basically if people give you money out of their own free will, it is legit yes.
As long as everyone knows that the administration of this game is not responsible should you for some reason not be able to pay it back.
Not saying you wouldn't, but just have to say that they can't complain to us about it, as they knew what they were doing in the first place.

For me this is a way of advancing outside the "orthodox" way this game was designed for and for the "lender"/you is a great way to make money in an unprecedented way, that you could not otherwise make, following the resources the game provides.

So if you have some "capital" lying around then take a small risk. It would be a great way to prove my idea works and can be profitable for everyone.

actually the length of your membership DIRECTLY affects your ability to repay me. if you aren't established you will be bringing in next to nothing from your resources and you won't be able to hold a city, therefore you won't be able to even transfer geos back to me.

Without a doubt. If the lender chooses not to collect the interest on a daily basis, it is automatically deposited in his acccount and collects interest (compunding interest) . The difference is that interest can be withdrawn at any time, so if they wish to collect the interest and the compunding interest anyday between day 1 and day 20 they can.

Was thinking of that, but at least BACTERIUS is not as blatantly over-confidence compared to Agent Shap. I can see how you can earn the extra 1.25% by sacrificing your income from resource. But at least it saves BACTERIUS from having to jewel, I suppose.

On the attacks, I agree with ghetto_bob though. You are much better paying some money to get a quiet city, instead of attacking a player and depends on your luck to get better odds while probably losing the money which needs to be returned to lender.

I was thinkin of Shap last night when i read this thread. It did cross my mind that it is Shap, but would he really try a third time for loans?

Please guys don't speculate or assume things, your assumptions of how my idea works, are wrong. Attacking a city has little to do with finances. You will see that the city I attacked produces 70+ geos a day, hardly enough to support my troops there. Plus I have no intention of attacking anything else. I just wanted to get a feel of the game and learn a few things here and there with the attack yeterday, which was more of a diplomatic solution really thanks to Ghetto Bob.

I did not want to deal with the Shap allegations, since is really ridiculous. I said it before, please listen when I say it for a second time, that this is the first and only name I have used. If you would like to know anything further you are very welcome to PM me. I am a preety open guy.

A little less doubt about my integrity and ability to pay my lenders would be nice. Anyone that has lend me money is entitle to their first installment of interest today. You can check with them if you please, and make a better decission. Before I even thought of attacking I opened enough mines and fields to support and pay back all the loans and interest. Should you need a financial analysis, PM me and I will send you what I own, how much I owe and what I need to pay back.

Again it would be nice if you stop assuming things.

I remember a guy a few months ago started something like this, way before there were donators, and it ended up he didn't have a city to pay back!!
