I posted a bug report earlier about these and Luke responded that the difficulty in these things is that he doesn't know where to send them. Some of them haven't reset their homebases either, so they just float. No real suggestions, except that if it's obvious they're not active, just kill them and maybe credit accounts for the losses in case they come back.

And the armies/homebases of those who were banned are still in GE too.

Same problem with deft5301 owned by deft (no really!) who hasn't played since 26 Feb.
It's sitting outside the homebase of [u574rd (/\)4rr10r but the base doesn't exist anymore so you can't send an army to it.

... and Pandas owned by Pandarian who hasn't played since 27 Dec. It's sitting outside the homebase of conqueror but the base doesn't exist anymore. In fact if you have a look at conqueror's player info it says: "Error: User has not joined GEHwar yet."

Here's a good job for a shadowdani or bueth to write a program to sweep through all external armies (armies that are not in a city or base) and crosscheck the location of the army (there must be coordinates as GE knows where to put it) against the location of the base (ir it exists) or city (in Altalantis' case). If different, resend it, then it will move to the correct location of that destination, if the army is outside a non-renewed homebase, send them back to the owner's homebase. If the owner has no homebase - credit the army to my account :)


I'm not a programmer, but this sounds feasible using my logic, can this be done?
