i erased my old kml resource files and downloaded the new ones but i still get "invalid id" when i try to plant one and it tells me to download my kml file again.

I don't have one kml file that will help unfortunately.

Mine is slightly off for both locations, I just know where to try relative to my kml file.

It'll either be further north than you are, or further south.

That's what I've had to do in the past for Stonehenge - go North or South a bit
