What about having one or maybe more mission objectives for one gewar reset?
I remember a brilliant game we had in Gewar V1. You had to find 10 cities, which were special ones. Those were hidden and spread through all alliances around the world. You only could see that a city is a special one if you owned it. Then you had to own all 10 cities at once in order to attack Chania, Greece (or Heraklion I don't know), where the evil guy (rabban) was sitting.
The winner was honoured and got a Star behind his player name that remained for the next games also.
But I don't want to talk about the reward, I liked that game a lot. It brought activity because all major alliances started to check cities around the world which caused lots of trouble and fights.

It was a game which all players could take part in. Even if it was only on an informational basis. If you knew a city name you could sell that information and so on.

It was really a fun thing to have such an entertaining game which lasted for weeks or even months, I don't remember.
That's why I wish for something like that this round again.
Now you know about the topic and one example is given. More ideas for related "games" or objectives will be much appreciated.

+1 that idea. I'm not sure how it's like now though unless it's still like the past resets. Zeroing still a good problem for smaller players vs big alliances?
Or was that the same during V1?

Leonhart:

Sure that is a problem and always was. But if you play smart and have a little diplomatic skill you'll find your way.

.....and have a little diplomatic skill you'll find your way.

So basically this game would be Mongoose-ist?! As is well known around these parts, diplomacy and mongooses rarely go hand-in-hand haha.

Just bringing this up to ask if staff have considered anything of what I mentioned in this thread doable?

Yeh - That was a great game. I know because I won the last one with the help of several people in a coodinated effort that too less than 30 minutes, numerous HB jumps and a total of 5 people.

Shout out BLF, Sunshine, Starchy, cardhu67.

Good ol' days.

The game where you attacked every city was good as well, do you remember it took you a few days, but I remember us all pooling to help you do it :)

Yeah that was tons of fun too... I remember some players b!tched a little about the armies but in the end it wasn't that bad and a great team effort...
