Not as big as Portland Maine, but further towards the center of the state. Also the capital and not as easy to mistake as Portland Seatle.

Portland is to close to NH in specific Portsmouth, which should prob be addded too. So figured Augusta would be a good city to at least get Maine on the map. Heck I live outside Portland, so would like to see it, but to many people would confuse with Wash state.

I'd rather not have to move ANY cities at all. Very major cities have got this treatment (Cairo/Alexandria), (Casablanca/Rabat(capital of Morocco)), (Bujumburra, Burundi/Kigali, Rwanda(both capitals)) and a few very large Chinese cities (Beijing/Tianjin for example). 500K is not a major city, it isn't even a state capital. And it has the same name as a much larger city in the same country (confusion factor). Portland is a poor city to add, sorry to any locals but that's the way it is.
