I don't think we will see that anytime soon, it's still from last round so should've been up by now...

BTW I am not saying there should be a reset, but wont it be better to start a new round after what's happened?

then what a few more get caught cheating and we have to reset again and again because there is always gonna be cheats, which is sad to say but that is all part of online games

Dont get me wrong lucky, i feel for those that were cheated. i know how it feels we fought against the cheats last round and it cost us so much geos it wasnt funny. and nothing worse than playing against someone that you know you cant beat because they cheat to get ahead.

hopefully luke might be able to help the few that lost a hell of lot of geos. with a small donatation to your accounts. i dont think anyone should complain about it. Personally i think it only fair if it able to be done.

The only quam that I have would be that, although the geo's were essentially obtained unfairly (I admittedly don't know everything) and that it sucks a lot that players spent their geo's fighting against the players who obtained them unfairly, this scandal is not anywhere near the level of last reset.

These were legitimate resources, sold illegitimately, but converted legitimately correct? that said, the players that fought the perp's were still fighting REAL geo's with their own, if these farm accounts converted their own resources and fought with them, GeWar players would actually have more troops to kill because the geo's that cheaters had to pay for the resources, and any interest that the farm accounts accrued still has not been used (and I'm hoping/assuming the farm accounts were banned as well as the cheaters).

That all said, I don't think that paying a stipend to players who fought the cheaters is necessary or appropriate.

@Spy these players didn't cheat with 100k or so, they cheated with 500k+ and made it up from many accounts so they basically had millions of geos... I have received/given geos over the market too, nothing that was as bad as what they did so I assume they did it in LARGE amounts

Just looking at the WTO alliances I can see 15-19 accounts that haven't been doing much this round, 3 people banned because of farming, 15-19 accounts they got geos from... That's HUGE!!

Now we come to the real issue though. You post as though you have zeroed me, yet the fact is you haven't. The only attacks you have made on me in the last 3 weeks (or possibly longer, I can't see that far back and I don't recall) are:

Just out of interest could somebody tell me the point of this thread? Luke already explained he would not be resetting. He did so in an email to you Starbuck. I am not sure why you then felt the need to make a thread, other than to either stir the pot, or because you yourself wish there was a reset, so are hoping to gain some ground by winding the players up.

Either way I would like to point out, that accts have been banned, I do not believe the investigation has finished entirely yet. The staff are currently working hard to sort this all out, so please do not expect things to happen like yesterday, we all have lives outside of this game, and many full time jobs as well, for goodness sakes give us a chance to sort it out and be patient.

I asked a simple question, what will happen now? Like I said earlier in this thread it will be nice to see what the players think as well so that's why I opened the thread.

I know admin is currently working hard to sort this out and no one said anything that they have to hurry up or did I miss that bit? It was weird that no one else opened up a thread so I did.

The point is Starbuck do you not realise that thread's like this make the staff feel under pressure, drumming up support doesn't ever just stop on the forum's, you know yourself by the fact you email Luke,you are not the only person who emails him, its the same for most staff, we get email's, get pm's and also get drowned in messages on chat programmes all about the same subject. The amount of time you spend answering all these questions away from the game, to then get the same ones on the game by the same people, is not only time consuming, its also insulting.

It feels like you are banging your head against a wall, purely because you didnt give the answer the emailer wanted. Now in truth this time could be better spent, if you were only patient, we could then try to sort these issues out in a far quicker manner.

If you had made the thread alone Luke would not end up re-answering the same thing time and time again, and the same can be said for all staff.

This thread wasn't intended for staff but for the players, it went pretty good until now

Mari of course its meant for staff, its on a game forum which staff read, you would then use the majority vote from this thread to justify whatever the outcome is, but either way, please all I am asking is, will you consider just how much time is swallowed us by us keep having to repeat the same things over and over again.

I don't know if you don't understand what I am saying, but it seems that all you are thinking is this was meant to see if players want a reset. That was never the intention and to repeat myself for the 3rd time now. This thread is for the players to talk about the cheatings and what can be done in game to prevent this from happening again.


Not every thread created is for staff only, it's nice that we have so many players active in the forums and to hear some more opinions is always good for the game :)

Ok so you are telling me that your comment above wasn't an implication that you were not impressed there wasnt going to be a reset? And you wanted to know what everyone else thought regarding that?

Now I do not think you understand me Mari. Now oddly enough I am a player, but I also am a staff member, so perhaps my insight into this may just be a little better than yours. It is not unreasonable for any staff member to request that you stop asking the same question, when you have had it answered is it then necessary to go and passs a comment as above because the answer you received wasnt what you wanted to hear?

Finally sometimes its nice to be humble anmd understand instead of always feeling its necessary to have the final word. Instead of disrespecting the staff and inparticular Luke, respect the fact you are even given an input in some decisions in the game. Luke knows whats best for HIS game, and his decision to not reset does not need to be met with a DAMN!!!

MAYBE I brought the reset word into so that Luke can confirm there wont be one, MAYBE I just wanted him to respond with what he told me in the e-mail.


Look I understand what you are saying but isn't it fair that everyone knows there wont be a reset? I think a lot of players thought there will be a reset, just like last round with the cheating that happened, so in the end isn't it just better to clarify that there wont be one right away so that people can just keep on playing like they have.

You are just taking this way out of proportion, maybe you're the one who is forcing the 'reset' issue here. Have you seen me ask for one, or anyone else ask for one after Lukes post? NO, but now you keep bringing this up again and again, what for when there is no issue regarding a reset

Mari just do yourself a favour and learn when its best to step away from a thread, you do nothing to endear yourself to staff carrying on in the this manner.

As I said before the fact we all spend so much time reiterating to players LIKE YOU, via email, then chat, then on the forums the same things over and over again, its not always possible for us to then make a thread. Think about it for a while before you open yet another thread or a helpdesk complaint or even email poor Luke.CLOSED
