Black City Colour

Now i'm normally not one to complain about such a simple matter but it seems quite a few people are using the black city colour to camouflage themselves as it is almost impossible to read in google earth.

Would it be possible to perhaps lighten it a bit or add an outline so we dont have to click on the city to view it's name/owner each time?

You could try actually clicking on the city to find out its name . . . .
But, yes, I get this same problem.
I also can't tell between silver and light (25%) black.

This was suggested a long time ago (old server), but didn't get a lot of support.

The invisble cities on the other hand had a lot of support (in regards to being changed/stopped)...and were so much fun...

I knew they were going to come back up again. They were fun. Especially considering there were probably about 75% fewer cities back then, so you could make an entire continent disappear :)

and indeed it ended up that probably only about 30% of cities in GEWar were visible in the end!! :(

Haha, I though it was a perfect opportunity to bring back some history.

Anyway, back on topic...

What is so hard about clicking on a city to see who owns it? Youre probaly going to do it anyway to see what alliance they are from and any other details you are interested in...

Fine maybe you can't read the owners name, but you can still see the city...

Youre probaly going to do it [click the city/name] anyway to see what alliance they are from and any other details you are interested in...

I agree: black colour is terrible. Usually I just want to see the cities owners, or even cities names of a big screen (lets say, half Africa or entire Europe). It is very boring to "click" each one to have this information.

The black colour for cities should be banned from the options. :bang

Maybe we can have other colours, like: Eggplant, Sage, Steel, Slate, Papayawhip, Aqua, Aquamarine, Jade, Saffron, Cornsilk, Ivory, Coral, Ginger... OMI colours!

Ah, yes. New polygons!! But there are a lot of colors to choose from, but not all seem to work. Fuschia, maroon, navy, olive, aqua. Do these work for you all?

Good point. People will try to camo their info so people over look it, but in the end all it does is make people click on it and then -> ;waddle

Ughgh...GE takes long enough to load as it is...We don't need ANOTHER picture to load.
