I just received the same pm, about 30 minutes ago and immediately deleted it. Basically thinking... looser. lmao
And just had a thought to post about this absurdity myself. Yet since I didn't think in advance, I forgot the User name. :o

Thanks, GEfourtwenty, for posting.

On the other hand... if he's as broke in the real word as he is in Ge War, it wasn't a bad shoot at making some quick bucks. :p Too bad for him, that people have a bit more wit than to fall for something that obviously, is a scam. :D

But I mean, would you not buy Geos (legally) if you were allowed to, and if it helped the server run, (kind of like donators)?

I think he had some good prices there... But as mentioned above this post, maybe we could pay like a donator for geos.

Yes, I honestly think that is a really good idea. It would also help out newbie(such as myself) to get started in the game if they wanted to fork out a small amount of money. I would only use it if it benefitted the server rather than one person, or a small elite.

But this could just become about whoever spends the most. Sure, there should be a perk for supporting the game, but geos?
Besides, as much as this argument is used, it would be very unfair to long-term players for a n00b to drop $100 on geos and wipe the resource cities. The game would just be dominated by a couple rich kids with nothing to do with their money.

Yeah i wasn't planning on doing that.

That would hurt the game and then donations wouldn't be needed anymore as people would just quit :D

:rock Yeah, I didn't think of it that way, people always will go to extremes if they are given the option. :sealed

i guess if it was like a "one-time" thing, like $5 for 1000 geos, that would be ok for everyone, not enough to really take over something, but enough to get most newbs off their feet. anyone else think this is a good idea?

That could be a benefit of becoming a donater, gain a one-time 1000 geos.

We could just have something where you buy a limit of 2500 geos. A noob, for a small fee, can avoid having to go through the start-up period. You could only allow one purchase per paypal account to prevent fake accounts.

Nononononono. Please. No. Even if you limit it to 2500 geos, we STILL are allowing n00bs to skip the startup period, and I think that's too important to allow them to skip it.

And besides, where would you be if you had 2500 geos and no resources?
