How do you know when invisible players are online, it's simple really... They post on the forum and you know haha

Prophet to answer your question:
Nothing else to be said here. Next time think before mentioning that a staff member using invisible mode (not viewable to players) is on at the same time as a player. So how would you know that information?

interrigation, how fun!

Erm let me think... I get online this morning see jeff online, I post here and then you post! A few minutes back I see Jeff reading this thread and then... wait for it... You post. Kind of tells me that you are both online doesn't it??

You really don't have to be clever to figure that one out :p

Pity SJ closed a thread that had perfectly normal talks going on it!

Just to interject with a good, healthy dose of logic and a comment that actually addresses what was said on the other thread, Sunshine was right. I would also add that it's important to recognise when someone is posting as a Staff member as Sunshine clearly was, and when they are posting as a player. Sunshine, as a Staff member closed the thread because it had gone off topic, not as a personal slight towards you. I think that was pretty obvious, so I don't really think the last comment of your post here is necessary.

Anyway, the point is Starbuck, you cannot know "for sure" that Prophet is Jeff Lebowski because that would require absolute proof in the form of Staff confirmation or an admission by Prophet himself. Unless you have received this confirmation or admission by PM, neither has happened on the forum. Therefore, at best you can only be 99.9% sure based on the facts and observations available to you, but that isn't absolutely definite or "for sure". For example, I have also seen Jeff Lebowski online at the same time as Huxy, Tohann, and Ghetto Bob. That was the point being made, that you can't be absolutely sure, just that you have a strong suspicion as to the identity of Jeff Lebowski. For what it's worth I think you're probably right about who he is, but I'm not saying I know "for sure", I just have a strong suspicion. See the difference?

I see the difference but I am willing to say that I know it's him for sure, 100% certain of it and I would have to be proven wrong for me to believe otherwise haha

The other thread never went off topic, we were discussing if jeff is in fact prophet or not in a thread where prophet asked me who I thought was who... I thought we would have a little bit of fun with the topic but oh well, what's done is done!

You know I am growing extremely tired of having to explain every single thing I do, I was asked to close the thread, so I did it. Incase you are wondering I was asked by a member of staff to do so.

Mari in short there is only one way you would be able to be 100% certain that Jeff is Prophet.

Now can we move forward...

I don't mind that you closed the thread, I just said that nothing seemed wrong about it so I didn't really understand, that's it... There's nothing more to it really.

I opened up this thread to explain to prophet why I think he is Jeff, seemed that he was somehow accusing me of something so I wanted to explain... I did and am now moving on!

Back on topic:

Wow, open mouth insert foot. Could it also be said people who have to be in huge alliances are chicken?

That last bit was actually a joke... I have no problem with people using invisible mode, if I had it would mean that I have a problem with 90% of the players

In any case, when a staff member closes a thread or performs any action for that matter, they have no obligation to explain their actions. It's typically discussed to death among staff anyways.

Lol I know that but then also know that staff aren't allowed to just close a thread. Unless it gets really out of hand :)

Anyway I am SO over this discussion...

Ok let me explain once and for all, I was asked by a member of staff to close the thread. An admin no less, so for goodness sakes stop scrutinising it Starbuck, it was not personal, it was not done in malice, it was not done for any other reason than I was asked to do it.

I have said it once already, I am tired of having to explain my every single action.

Now LET IT GO.

No one asked you to explain anything SJ and you really don't have to explain anything to me, so yes drop it :)
