1) Well just recently I believe it was Starchy who said that army interception and splitting would not be instituted this reset, what about next reset?

2) Would anyone be opposed to a jeweling leaderboard being added to the Hall of Fame page for each reset? Obviously it shouldn't be posted during a reset but afterwards whats the harm?

3) Anyway that on the My account page, or on a public page we add a ticker with how many troops (experience) killed and lost by each player? I believe staff mentioned they were working on this months ago, but haven't heard anything about it recently.

4) Can we do away with being able to train armies and just have them gain experience as they battle? that would obviously eliminate the issue that was exploited this round, and as we all know the %'s of increase are not exactly correct as is (ie. hard training says +.45, but the army actually goes to 1.55 exp, and if you do hard training twice in a row without refreshing it gives you 2.0 exp)

5) FOR MOBILE USERS: We NEED to find a way to make city and homebase list menu's (for sending armies) searchable or easier to scroll through on phones. I'm using the Fascinate and have talked to other Android users (not sure about iPhone) and there's no other way then to feverishly run my finger across the screen 1000 times to get to cities that start with letters that fall late in the alphabet.

This is an open forum, not meant to complain about lack of features, any other simple fix or change suggestions would be greatly appreciated I'm sure

Ditto on the mobile part, i would like to be able to send more armies to the same destination, but that might be asking for too much, lol. I have a Motorola Milestone-Android also-.
I loved army interception and splitting, and would love to see that back.

About army experience, i also agree, i´m almost sure that noone uses the weapons options, and that everyone would train their armies until having the 2x EXP, implying one extra click, every time someone created an army to attack.

I also would like to see any incarnation of score back into the game, it was a great way to have some bragging rights to show

Off course you do cheuk, a lot can't play without it. Just shows that it needs to stay away :)

I would also like to see splitting/interception back.

I strongly recommend to remove ALSO the

- selling of ressources for a cheaper price then as listed in trading in.

Experience of this reset shows, that it was excessive handled selling ressources for 0.01 geos.

This will also remove all sleeping Banking Accounts and force people to fight and play a fair game...

Why shouldn't bank transfer to be back in gewar? Bank Transfer is the fundamental componet in gewar and cannot be taken away.

Lol it can't be taken away, yet we just played a round without it and everything was fine without it.

I for one will not be returning if resources are allowed to be sold on the market as it has this round

Well, I have to say it was a huge grey area. Doable but not supposed to and not enforced.
Should ether be ok or fixed.

1. I would really like to see attack score reinstated, nice bragging rights for active and solo players.

2. DOND!!!!!

3. The return of investing would be nice, only because I like that when you zero someone you destroy their assets.

4. Someone suggested in an earlier forum that certain cities be grouped and that when you hold the group you get a bonus (Risk style continents). I don't see this happening but I think it would be nice to try.

this was, like you said, a fundamental component to build up sleeping bank accounts only for the reason to support a few fighters with money, means an unfair playing to me. What we need are active people in the game. We do not need people who log on, plant and give ther money to others and log off. This is is an area where it is easy to cheat..and we both dont want this, we want to play a fair game or ?

I'll steal Decooter's post here and adapt/anotate it seeing as he covers most of the common requests.

1. A better nuke shield option to actually protect your armies - agreed, the nuke system needs some work to address the balance issues between attacking and defending.

2. DOND - I loved DOND, thought it was great fun, but not a priority in my opinion.

3. Investments (reason to zero someone) - you need a reason to zero someone?! haha. If they've played longer than a month, are my enemy, and have cities then that's more than enough reason for me!

4. Increased city tax (to make cities more worthwhile) - agreed, but within reason. It's way better than it used to be in the old version though.

5. No buy-able EXP for armies - I really like this idea, plus it would save the hassle of having to buy 3 lots of experience for every army to get it to 2.0.

6. Score - Definitely. Proper attacking/defending score, not number of troops killed. As I've said before, you could just sit massive armies outside of enemy homebases and score well with troops killed, it doesn't mean you're active or playing well.

7. Many different alliances with smaller numbers of players (instead of 3 huge alliances and if you dont join one of them you dont get cities.) This one is up to the players to decide - Completely agree again, but it's a difficult one. It's sad to see that many of the larger, traditional alliances have become inactive or have disbanded.

8. Industry!!!!! - Not overly fussed on this one personally, but it did make things interesting now and again.

I'd also add army interception and possibly splitting as my top one.

Okay I take serious issue with #7. I am completely fine with alliances being smaller (this should be easy to limit) but I do not understand why you should have to belong to an alliance to own cities?

I don't understand why anyone would want this as a feature. It would completely discourage new players from joining, and there must be other players like me out there that like to go it alone. I suppose as long as I was still allowed to make an alliance of one , I wouldnt mind....but I still dont see the point.

To bring this back from the dead...


A few things brought up before and easy to do but would be great.

Nuke shields.. either be able to resell them in a city or have them go away each time a city is taken.
This really should be a priority. Would even up the nuke issue if cities where not defended for ever.
Oh and make em cost more too.
Be nice to hit someone and make 1k selling their nuke shield. Would sponsor larger armies in cities pretty quick.


More ideas, but figured this was a good start..

Anyone else have EASY and SMALL idea that would improve play but do not need 300 man hours to implement?

More resource cities...Maybe a set of resources in each continent. For example in North America (Houston-Oil, Little Rock-Diamond, Atlanta-Cotton, New Orleans-Fish, and North Platte-Uranium).

Resource cities could have a new payout. Lets say currently that Cape Town pays out 21000 geos for diamonds.

The new payout would be divided by 7. So each of the new Diamond Mine cities in each continet would payout 3000.

Its been awhile since I've held Cape Town so don't know exact diamond payout.

There would be 30 new resource cities to fight over. I don't know how hard this would be to do...

I think we should get an alliance pot. It is basically a bank that can be accessed by all alliance members. In your bank, you should have the option to deposit geos into your alliance pot. All alliance members can take and deposit geos from this pot. Obviously there has to be some restricitons to stop people "stealing 1000's of geos". Maybe the alliance leader can have the option to restrict money taken out every 24hr's?

Just an idea. Hope you like it :D

I normally choose ios over android. But in the case of gewar I have to say gewar plays better on android probably. Haven't played it, but saw how a pull down menu is translated to on android, and could just imagine it beats the endless scrolling ios has. It's a pain to go to a city that starts with one of the last letters in the alphabet on an iphone.

Gotta check if some other browsers aren't doing that better on the iphone though, as some new ones came out.
