AJAX would really save lots of time and make playing more enjoyable

things AJAX would be great for
-adding troops
-selling stock ("sell all" button, next to sell)
-changing army name
-moving armies around
it would be nice to have an option to load either of the following on the army page using AJAX:
1) 25 recently visited cities
2) own cities
3)all cities
4)homebases
Loading all cities + all homebases is a bit long, especially when you don't need them...

Yeah, you could do some cool things with AJAX to make the functionality and interface much smoother. It would certainly cut back on server traffic - especially for things like stock prices, which I've been refreshing every 5 minutes about all day.

You could also use Google maps to view your armies and click to have them move locations, things like that.

Not at all a high priority, but it would be neat.
