sometimes we may find ourselves in the position of having a gazillion cities..and thus require a gazillion armies to occupy them, a bunch to do other things so on so forth.
gets a bit hectic on the ol' army screen.
Answer: Folders. can we make foldersssssss keep all the occupying armies out the way if we so wish, group attacking armies under another..etc etc. would make it so much easier on the eye and a lot easier to fiddle with than scrolling endlessly to find the right army (as much as alphabetical is helpful..it is rather limited)

folders would be nice, although I personally would lose armies, forget what folder they are in etc... you can just rename your armies with a "z" in front of the name of armies just hanging out in cities and they will be at the bottom of your armies page

i do that kind of thing already but it can be a bit ghey scrolling up and down a long list of names.
u could name the folders "garrison/attack/intercept/whatever" .. would just look nicer on the eye as well as being more helpful at times.
would also be a lot more helpful for those using the mobile phone version! :)

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea. I have 63 armies and just renamed the ones in cities to 'z', it took some time lol
Good idea Carach :)

But if you progressively do it, there is no problem :P
I personally use prefixes, which are effective enough. Prefix everything as you send it. I use Cities with C (+ the name of the city, but that's my pref).
Also, it would be just as difficult I would think to create a viable folder concept because I think you would still have to do it individually. So it would be just as many clicks (less typing though), to complete it, but a lot of programming effort for something that you can already do to an extent.

I can't use C as a prefix for city armies, I already use it for armies I'm sending to those special players in the game who I don't like - let's just say it doesn't stand for cities! :secret
