I just wanted to say that the NO and UN territorial blobs look awesome on GE.

does anyone else respect this style of play or do you prefer to hold power cities and rank higher?

If you hold every city in an area, noobs who settle there will by default, only have you to attack, wheras if you intermingle and establish yourself as the stronger force in an area, noobs will more likely attack the other guys.

It is gratifying to see your big blob on the map though.

P0wderfinger's got it right about the tactics though; I think it's more difficult to defend against the newer players in your area - but hey, nobody said cool was easy!

We don't really have a big blob like NO does, we sort of have small blobs all over the place. I remember when we had a big blob in china though, it looked cool, but it just meant everyone was going to attack us.

Long live the blob! It would be nice to see "area under control"(line around outer cities of the blob, if exists) as a stat for alliances.
