You should not be able to attack it unless you rule Rome! You may sit outside of it, but not to attack it. And if you rule Rome, you have not to attack it, of course.

Can't do anything because it is part of Rome. Nice idea for bonus city! Not sure how it would work, but I like bonus cities.

:o I agree. I was not thinking globaly. I was just looking for interesting places in my region.

Religious cities could give maybe army morale, making them somehow more efficient? And if you capture all the major religious cities, you get the "God Beam" which Ion Cannons a city of your choice every so many days. Ignore that last part.

Having said that..... A bonus city that cause other benefits not just geos isn't such a silly idea. I like the "hand of god". If you own the bonus city for 1 week, every week on the anniversary of ownership you can do 1 smite of your enemy's city and wipe out 50%, maybe more, of their troops defending!

Anything to keep the battles, imagine the world war over Rome or Jeddah/Mecca (which one is the Holy city by the way, they are both next to each other and I'd love to add which ever one is the most important)...

Maybe you can just book a padded cell for me too, p0wderfinger.....

Blitz might have a point with a city that has something else then geos, but I think we want to keep this realistic.
And as not all users believe in God, we might want to keep him out of it.

I agree with Luke, not everyone are going to be religous, and certainly not everyone are going to be Christian
