Right now when you loose a city the nuke shield stays. Same as after it is nuked.. Not sure if it was on purpose or not. How about a time on all nuke shields. say 30 days? or even 3 days.

they're useless anyway, just do away with them.
Nah GB, in this version they are not useless. It becomes strategy. Shoot several nukes and try to impact them simultaniously.

In the Alpha version the shields used to stay when you left the city or when it was attacked and taken from you, the only way the shield was lost was when the city was nuked!
It should prob be like it was in Beta where you lose it with attacks and when you leave the city?

or what about a "destroy shield" option when you own the city? Obviously I agree that the shield should disappear when the city is nuked also.

I don't see a problem with how the nuke system works atm... If you wanted to have them affected further I would agree with Peon that a timer on shields would work. I also think that adding in a chance that the shield can be destroyed when a city is attacked(by troops) could work.

I don't want nukes at all. If there were nukes,
I want them to be only launched in cities that would have capabilities to nuke.
e.g. titusville florida (Kenedy Space Center (military pads are here)) and cities near:
edwards AFB, Area 51, Baikonur Cosmodrome Kashistan, kourou (in south america), Kwajalein (SpaceX, pacific islands), and Vandenburg AFB.
