everytime I convert resources to geos, and then deposit those in the bank, FICA or someone is taking a little bit of the top...

convert resources
click on world bank
at the top, it says 52.81 geos available
click deposit
can only deposit 52.80

.01 goes is not much, except how many times does it happen on deposits (me, 1/2 the time) and whose account is it going into..

where is my stapler.....

also noticed I sometimes have -0.01 in the bank, after I take out all my geos

Anybody remember the movie Office Space where these guys write a virus to tell the computer to round fractions of pennies down instead of up and put the difference into their paycheck and they end up getting like a bazzilion dollars. I'm pretty sure that's what's happening here. :nana

yeah that's got to be one of my favourite movies.

It was just so similar to the last company i worked at.

Back on topic: It is because of rounding. The actual number of geos has about 10 (I think) digits after the decimal. It gets rounded (up I think) to only two digits.

but why then does one page list the, albeit minimal, slightly higher number...

again... not really an issue, unless it is going to someone else's bank..

your armies have to be fed. if bank-interest < army expense then you could have <0 geos in your usable fund. be careful. your troops die if you don't feed them.

That's not what he's talking about. He's talking about his bank balance, not cash on hand.

By example, sometimes when you have 10 geos in the bank, and you withdraw 10 geos, you end up with -0.01 geos in the bank.

In computer security terminology, this is called "the salami attack".
