View Full Version : Send your armies...anywhere!

You know, only being able to send your armies to cities or other homebases is something that can be a pain. We've talked about creating 'outposts' but I think this can do one better.

What if we had a kml (yes, another customized kml, Luke) that would be sorta like the homebase selector tool. You would just cruise to the spot you want to send your armies to, the bubble pops up saying,"Would you like to send your army here?" Click yes, it takes the coordinates and sends your army there.

Now, of course, this could render the warning system on your city list nearly useless, so we could adjust it so that it goes off if someone is set to dock x miles from your city.

Whaddya think?

I love it, but there would probably need to be at least a 50 mile range on the warning system. Someone that close would be able to move and attack before you would even get a warning.

I like it too.

But there would have to be a matching KML file that these spots show up on, so other people can also then send armies there to intercept or simply rendezvous.

not if u buy a big radar for ur city lol, or a feature for sending out scouts to look around the surroundin area, could be implemented along with these ideas...:cheer:shoot

And how about people could go near stopped troops and be able to attack them.

Why a new KML file ?! you could change the existing Army's file, if you see an line from the army to the place it goes to ?! instead of the line from the army to where it came from it is now... Cuz I still don't see the meaning of that line... :o
Dunno how difficult it is to change that... but I gues its easeyer then making a whole new file...

The lines don't mean anything at this point, you can't meet an army anywhere along that line.

You have to meet them at a city, a home base, or as I am proposing, at this new waypoint or outpost.
