Alliance : an association to further the common interests of the members

Please note that 'members' is plural, not singular.

It is my suggestion that in order to build and then maintain an alliance, you must have more than 1 member.

Over 250 alliances, but only 90 have more than one member....

There can be a grace period when you are setting up an alliance of some period of time to allow others to join, but if it remains 1 users, it should vanish.

On the first screen of the "top alliance" page over 10% are an alliance of 1.

Plus, it forces would-be attackers to make an additional click if they check you out before attacking your city, draining them of their will to attack/live. :p

When they click on your name and check to see who you're with and they see "Stabby" as your alliance they take the time to see if its a weak alliance, or to see if its in a multi-alliance ceasefire with them, or they just forget attacking cause you're in an alliance
