It would be amazing if you could have the following RSS feeds
1) Your alliance notice board
2) Alerts when an army starts heading your way
3) When your available geos goes close to 0
4) When it's time to build new mines
Better yet all of these combined in one feed, would make my gaming 10 times more enjoyable and effective.

My ideas for rss feeds:
- Newest Messages from Your Main GEwar page, in a form time - date, city, attacker, result, i.e.
10:38:33 - January 14th, 2006, Belgrade, Serbia, dwork, retained
- Most Recent Notes from Your Alliance
- Your Info (right side of page) with data about your Unread Private Messages, Weapons/Armies, Resources/Finances, Cities status (clean, green, red)
- Top Players
- Top Alliances
- When you can build your next one resource from View your resources pages
- New Posts from Support Forum
- Your financial overview in short lines
I know that code monkeys would say that half of these could not be done, but if half can be done, it's great :cheesy

- City Status Changes
- Alliance Notes
- Build new resource
- Current Geos (Bank/On-hand)
- Your Stock's prices (How much you have gained/loss)
The rest isn't that important that it needs to be accessed in a RSS feed

The only problem with all of these is they would A) require the server to log you in, which is considered running a script on the page and I doubt luke wants any of that or B) have this as public information for everyone, which I for one dont want people to know my bank balence.

Hm, I suppose you are right - I didn't know you couldn't have personalized RSS feeds.

At the moment the only one which has a chance to be made is a rss feed showing the latest activities.
which is considered running a script on the page
If we provide it then its not a script and it is allowed ;)
have this as public information for everyone, which I for one dont want people to know my bank balence.
And this is quite obvious.

...And this is quite obvious.To do one that knows it! To me it's not. :o
I thought that since we all open the same page for example war/yourarmies.php, we can get something like war/yourarmies.xml that would be unique.

considering the amount of resources required to pull off everything ppl are asking here .. i dont think its doable..

What about a feed for the forum? It's just a matter of turning it ON in the admin settomgs, I believe...

For forum RSS you can use this address and change the bits in bold:
http://www.gewar.net/forums/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=1
Change the rss2 to:
rss1 (for rss 0.92)
rss2 (for rss 2)
rss (for rss 2 showing time of post and poster instead of actual post)
The 1 is the forums you want, leave it blank for all of them and seperate them with commers:
2 = GEWar Talk
3 = GEWar Support
4 = Feature Suggestions
5 = Bugs
6 = Alliance Talk
7 = City Requests
8 = Change Log
9 = General Discussion
And I can't be bothered to list the rest.
So for rss2 and bugs, alliance talk and change log forums you would use:
http://www.gewar.net/forums/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=6,8,5
